Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada by her character of Bo. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk are the parents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright and director and plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories include going to play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk appeared as a little girl in commercials. She graduated with a Bachelor's in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move from Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles within the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an Actors Workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in December 2009 after a civil wedding ceremony. They renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton, after the woman was converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second son was born on May 13, in 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode. The news was announced to viewers of the show in the Showcase show's pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on the 20th of June 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to work on the show. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) along with Lauren Palmer (Zoie) one of their favorite television couples. Entertainment Television.
