An alumnus of Puyallup Washington Butler was interested in performing arts as she grew as a child. The choir she sang in was entered into contests for singing and also performed in high school and community theatre. Following her move into Los Angeles, she studied acting at the University of Southern California and played Belle the princess of Beauty and the Beast at Disneyland for a year and a quarter. Butler played Jennifer Hills, a writer who gets assaulted by a group in a forest. She is the character who seeks revenge against her attackers. The film produced by Steven R. Monroe was released in October 2010. Butler started filming The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller, on Mallorca in November 2011. The film was also scheduled to film on location in Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She joined the cast of the feature film independent Treachery featuring Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012.
